Front Porch Art Walk Oktoberfest is joining Yappy Hour this Sunday from 2-5pm. Yappy Hour HOWL-o-Ween will feature Yappy Hour vendors, dog contests, giveaways, music by DJ Kevin Tos with Party Solution Entertainment, Yappy Hour bingo and the BIGGEST Halloween costumer contest for your pooch! Plus, Oktoberfest at Yappy Hour will feature FREE pumpkin painting, FREE beer steins with purchase of Oktoberfest beer, giveaways, games, contests and more! That’s right … a Halloween party just for the pooches featuring Trick-or-TREATing and the BIGGEST doggy costume contest in Jacksonville! You must register your dog by 3 p.m. for the costume contest, limited space is available, so get here early! Costume contest will take place around 3:30 p.m. Awards will be given to one winner in each of the following categories: Most original costume Scariest/Spookiest Costume Best Owner/Dog Duo Cutest Costume Best Overall Costume Yappy Hour is a FREE dog happy hour for pups, their parents and dog lovers hosted by The Jacksonville Landing. It happens three times in the fall and three times in the spring. Please make sure your pup is up-to-date on their shots and have the appropriate identification tags.
