It's been a hard week and I'm guessing that, like me, you've been experiencing a powerful mix of emotions from grief, to anger, to overwhelm. A big part of what's helped me through these long and difficult days has been being together with other people who share my sadness and who share my conviction to continue the fight.

This event is open to the public and is designed for Equality Florida members, LGBT equality supporters and those new to our organization to gather, mingle and learn how to get engaged in our work here in Jacksonville. We will have complimentary snacks and a cash/credit bar.
We will be joined by Equality Florida's Jacksonville based leadership team. Equality Florida staff will also give an update on what's next in the fight for full equality statewide and the latest on the campaign to pass an LGBT inclusive HRO in Jacksonville.
