I worked here for eight months. The best chefs are Ricky, Rick, Siri,Neo and Tot. The food is good but the health standards are not. They are unclean and many times don’t wear gloves when preparing food. The roof leaks all over the place and the owner, Tnom just will not fix it. Many surfaces, cabinets and around the grills on the floor too are disgusting and dirty and even stinky. Many times the mushrooms used to cook are set outside in the sun in the back room by the garbage bin and flies are allowed to get all over it. The main reason I left working there is because two chefs, Min and Zack were both physically and verbally abusive to me. They were allowed to hit me, punch me, and even shove my face in the ice box. They were allowed to get in my face and yell at me, and threaten to go outside and beat me up. They still work here and are not held accountable. I have brought it up nine times to management and they do nothing. The owner himself said all I can do is tell them to be nice to you- obviously a flat out lie. He can hold them accountable and fire them which he should have done first thing. The last straw is when as when Tnom the owner threatened to take me outside and ‘beat the shit out of me’ as he put it. I confronted him about it and he said it again. Also I was the only worker there who was always on time and never late and never called out except one time for Covid. They tried to force me to still work than and have me a hard time for wearing a mask. Despite all that I did to benefit the resterant and make it a better place they rewarded those who show up late, call out are disrespectful and rude to customers and don’t have good work ethics.
Very gay friendly!
I ate at this restaurant with my husband on Saturday night and we sat at a hibachi table and another gay couple was seated at our table! Our server came out and he was a very cute gay Persian young man. The overall service was amazing and it was welcoming having a gay server and not feeling uncomfortable. I would highly recommend it his restaurant to anyone!
