The New 616 (Closed Permanently)

(19 Ratings)
Never a Cover Charge. Everyone 21+ Welcome.
It is a great local bar that has an outdoor patio. The staff is awesome and the bartenders make sure your drink is never empty. The live DJ plays great music and the Cabaret shows will leave a smile on your face. There's something different happening every day of the week and the monthly T-Dance draws a great crowd.

I have a crush on Chris the bartender.

It's a friendly local neighborhood bar. Chris is cute, got a nice body, and is very friendly. For some odd reason, I ended up being a bit shy with him. Damn it. I hope the next time I come back...I won't be as shy.

Small, no people and still bad service...

As much as I travel around the country, I am amazed at the attidude of bartenders. The two occasions I went here, there were no maybe 10 people at best, and the bartenders still managed to ignore me every chance they got. The place is small and generic...nothing really to do or see here.

Friendly patrons

I visited 616 during my last business trip to Jax on a Thursday night. At first I felt bored and ignored, and even a little annoyed with the twinks siitting to my right....who were getting rapidly intoxicated. Im glad I decided to give it a chance. The crowd was diverse and lively. Before i left I had met several very nice locals and had some good conversation. I will be back!
